Fried Tilapia With Lemon Butter Sauce (Ikan Tilapia Goreng Bersos Mentega Lemon)


1 kg Tilapia, cleaned with salt water and deboned
tsp Salt
tsp Ground white pepper
80 ml Cooking oil
80 g Butter
160 g Plain (all-purpose) flour
40 g Parsley, chopped
Lemon Butter Sauce
160 g Butter
1 Lemon, juice extracted
Salt to taste




To fry the fish: Marinate fish with salt and white pepper for 5 minutes. Set aside. Heat cooking oil and butter in a pan. Coat marinated fish with plain flour and fry in hot oil until done but not too crispy. Remove fish and drain on an absorbent paper. Arrange fish in a serving dish.
To prepare sauce: Melt the butter in a heatproof pan over a low heat. Add lemon juice and salt and stir until well combined.
To serve: Pour lemon butter sauce over prepared fish. Garnish with parsley before serving.
