King's Pudding (Puding Raja)


200 ml Cooking oil
500 g Sweet Pahang bananas, peeled
100 g Glace cherries
100 g Cashew nuts
1 can Evaporated milk
5 Egg yolks, lightly beaten
250 g Granulated sugar
1 tsp Vanilla essence




Heat cooking oil in a pan. Fry bananas until golden brown. Remove and drain. Arrange bananas on a serving plate. To make the custard, boil evaporated milk with egg yolks, sugar and vanilla essence until sauce thickens slightly. Pour sauce over prepared bananas and sprinkle with glace cherries and cashew nuts and serve.
