Tamarind Dip (Air Asam)


5 Green chilies, sliced
10 Bird's eye chilies (cili padi), sliced
10 Shallots, peeled and sliced
2 Limes, juice extracted
2 Tomatoes, wedged and thinly sliced
3 tbsp Tamarind pulp, mixed with 75 ml of water, squeezed and juice strained
1 tsp Dried shrimp paste (belacan) powder
100 ml Water
Salt tsp




Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
