Ulam Vegetable Rice (Nasi Ulam)

Ingredients

 

1 kg Cooked rice, cooled
Salt to taste
Finely Ground
125 g Dried prawns (shrimps), soaked to soften
8 Shallots, peeled
50 g Dried shrimp paste (belaean) powder
100 g Pounded roasted grated coconut (kerisik)
50 ml Lime juice
Ulam Vegetables (finely sliced)
50 g Indian pennywort (daun pegaga)
50 g Water dropwort (daun selam)
50 g Ulam raja
50 g Polygonum leaves (daun kesum)
1 stalk Torch ginger bud (bunga kantan)

 

 

 
Method

Season ground ingredients well with salt. Combine ulam vegetables, ground ingredients and rice. Mix thoroughly.
